Who is eligible to run?

• You are eligible if you are active in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025

  • Fall 2024 eligibility: 8+ points, paid dues

  • Spring 2025 eligibility: 8+ points by the election meeting, paid dues

What is the process for running for a position?

• To run for a position, prepare a one minute speech for election day

  • Within your speech, include what you want to Name, accomplish​, and desired position

• At the end of the presentations, we will use a google form to vote for each position

• Winners will be announced at the very end of the meeting

 

What are the positions available?

• President (main role to facilitate and schedule meetings with speakers)

• Vice President (main role to facilitate and send emails to club members)

• Treasurer (main role to maintain budget, gather dues, and send speaker gifts)

• Secretary (main role to take notes, create newsletters, enter meeting points)

• Historian (main role to manage social media and website)

• Social Coordinator (main role to plan socials)

• Volunteer Coordinator (main role to plan volunteer opportunities)

 

Are there specific requirements for specific positions?

• President: must be an incoming senior and previous officer

• Vice President: must be an incoming junior or senior

• *you may run for more than one position, but try not to run for more than two
